Visiting Hong Kong may not be the first thing that comes to mind for a swimming trip, but it’s loaded with pools. From the world’s highest pool in a skyscraper to a natural infinity pond on a mountainside, Hong Kong is home to some of the most beautiful and scenic pools.

There are even public swimming pools with slides and kids’ pools. You can find these at many of the city’s parks, as well as at some of Hong Kong’s top hotels. And of course, you can also find a few hidden gems!

Here are some of our favourite hk pools that are great for a fun day out with the family.

Kerry Hotel

If you’re looking for a place to relax and tan with a view, look no further than the beautiful outdoor pool at the Kerry Hotel in Wan Chai. The pool is surrounded by tropical plants and has a large terrace bar, Red Sugar, where you can sip on a drink and enjoy the view of Victoria Harbour.

You can purchase a pool pass for HK$250 during the week and HK$350 on weekends and public holidays, which includes access to the gym, steam room and whirlpool. Kids under three are free.

The largest public swimming pool complex in Hong Kong is located in Causeway Bay and offers a range of facilities for all ages. You’ll find a main pool, two teaching pools and a diving pool, plus a leisure pool with small water slides for the little ones, and bigger water canons for older children and adults. And if you don’t want to leave the pool, there is even a small playground right in front of the swimming area.

This destination pool in Kwun Tong is a hit with kids thanks to its slew of waterslides, water shooters and fountains. There is also a toddler training pool and an outdoor pool with some small slides and animals to climb on, along with a big indoor pirate ship that’s sure to please the big kids!

This pool is the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon with the family. There is a main pool, two teaching pools and one designed especially for toddlers, as well as an outdoor leisure pool with water slides, and an indoor swimming pool for the colder months. You can buy a monthly ticket for this pool for HK$300 (half price for students, children and seniors). And just like the other public pools, there is free entry for kids under 3.
