MARKETPLACE conference will be held virtually December 8-10, 2020

For the first time in its 39 years, MARKETPLACE is taking place in a virtual format. As usual, the conference will connect business owners from across Wisconsin seeking to do business with state, federal and local governments as well as private sector partners.

At the conference, minority, woman, veteran, small and LGBTQ-owned businesses can learn from and connect with resource providers, government representatives, corporate buyers and business professionals to lay the framework to develop new partnerships and new contracts.

The conference serves businesses of all sizes, with a special focus on helping small businesses get connected with resources and knowledge.

Each year, MARKETPLACE helps Wisconsin business owners learn about doing business with state, federal and local agencies as well as corporations, which represent billions of dollars of annual purchasing power. During this three-day event, businesses can meet with government and corporate buyers and connect with other small businesses and service providers from across the state.

While the conference is open to all Wisconsin business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs, content is specifically crafted for small, minority-owned, woman-owned, veteran-owned and LGBTQ-owned business enterprises and HUBZone businesses. These companies can connect with resources and potentially make a deal or lay the framework for a future contract.

Why Should You Attend MARKETPLACE 2020?

In this year’s virtual format, MARKETPLACE will allow companies more time to connect and network through virtual workshops, panel discussions, buyer meetings and much more.

While MARKETPLACE is proud to have been able to pivot to a virtual format to prioritize participants’ health, they look forward to welcoming you back at an in-person event as soon as it is safe – hopefully next year.

The fee to participate is $25 per person.
